The world gave me everything. And then it took it all away.

The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, the second book in the moving and captivating The Difference Trilogy from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez is now live!

The world gave me everything.

After surviving a plane crash, I was lucky to be alive. It was a harsh truth, but one that changed my perspective on how fragile life could be.

So when a fellow survivor caught my eye, I owed it to myself to take a chance and follow my heart.

Bowen Michaels was guarded and broody, but I saw through his well-formed armor. Much like me, he was broken and lost, but together we found our way through the darkness.

For a brief moment, wrapped in his arms, it felt like maybe he was right about fate and we’d been destined to find each other all along.

But when buried secrets of the past erupt, igniting us both, it was hard to believe we’d been fated for anything other than failure.

The world gave me everything. And then it took it all away.

Renee’s Five Star Review I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Difference Trilogy from Aly Martinez. You have to read The Difference Between Somebody and Someone or you are going to be lost. This is not the easiest of journeys and at times it is just heartbreaking to read but don’t let that stop you. Isn’t that the magic of being a reader. This story bounces between the past and the present. Things are progressing in some ways and in other not so much but Bowen has decided that if Remi wants him then he is going to stand by her no matter what. However he is still holding on to some secrets and Remi is in the dark about some things and keeping her own secrets too and it isn’t long before all those secrets pile up and things begin to come apart at the seams. It feels like you are just waiting to see things explode in their very faces. UGH I was a nervous wreck. I love these characters and fell even more in love with them in this book. I just can not say a lot about it or this would be a super long review and I would be writing it for forever. These books are best gone in to blind and you will love this just as much as I have. I can not wait to see what happens next.

About Aly Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez now lives in South Carolina with her four hilarious children. Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys movies that can surprise her with a twist, charcuterie boards, and her mildly neurotic golden retriever. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person. She passes what little free time she has reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, preferably with a glass of wine by her side.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
