This is the story of Sebastian and Elyse. I will tell you that once you pick this book up, you are not going to be laying it down. Elyse will absolutely break your heart. She is a girl who has never known love. As fate would have it though, she ends up in a situation that she never asked to be in. There is a side of her though that is just joy. Even in bad situations. I really loved that about her. She could have been down on life and mad at the world, but she chose not to. Sebastian on the other hand is dark and gosh what a jerk. I was so not a fan of him for a while. But I will say, don’t give up on him. He will grow on you and you will be saying something different by the end of this book. The man certainly knows how to bully Elyse and I wanted to knock him in the head for it too. However, he has a protective side. You just have to decide if he is being a jerk for her own protection or just a terrible person. I went into this book blind and I don’t really want to say anything about the story and give something away. There is a lot going on in this book and a lot of characters. It is a great read that you do not want to miss.
