Blurb:
I’m back where it all began—and I mean all.
Where my dad died.
Where my sister was murdered.
Where my life changed forever.
I’m at Thane University for a reason—to work my way through the memories I can barely grasp in my nightmares. Then he walks in and our souls collide when our eyes meet. He’s a part of this, but I can’t place him. I don’t even know his name, but I know he holds more power over me than he should.
I need to listen when I’m warned to stay away because he’s dangerous. But it doesn’t matter what anyone says—staying away isn’t an option.
Wicked Games is an enemies-to-lovers, new adult, bully romance with plenty of angst. This book contains mature content that some readers may find disturbing. It is not a standalone and does end in a cliffhanger that continues with a ton of heat and a HEA in Wicked Ends.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I was so excited to have Shane’s Book in my hands. I have been wanting his story for the longest time. And, there were so many things going on with him in the last duet Cruel Hate and Cruel Love. Everything that surrounded him was a mystery to even his twin who had no clue what was going on. Now we have his story in our hands. This is Shane and Winter’s duet and the first book in that duet. This is a dark tale that will have you devouring it and sitting on the edge of your seat. Shane is one of the dark and dangerous Elite. A star of the Academy’s football team who along with his twin and cousins are bound for the NFL. You might think he is rich but you would be wrong. His mother has really struggled to give her boys the life they are accustomed to. However though the beginning of this series he has been the mystery of the entire thing and diving into his book was so exciting to me. He is in a mess really. He has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter. He was secretly being a bodyguard because a family hired him and when she is touched and says no he does what he is supposed to do. But a total accident has landed him in the mess he is currently facing. However if we thought that was bad, things are about to get worse. Winter has been gone for eight years and with her return comes the chaos. Her father is dead, her sister has been murdered by their mother and her mother was arrested and put in prison. However the Childress family has taken her in and she is learning what a real family is. She is now enrolled alone with their son into Thane and is ready to face the things that cause her nightmares. From Shane point of view she has to pay for some things that happened in the fifth grade. And if it is the last thing he does he is going to make he pay.
This book is so good that I couldn’t put it down and loved every single second of it. I cannot wait to get the next book in my hands. I am dying to know what happens next.
