Author Katy Regnery is writing paranormal under the pen name K.P. Kelley. It’s You is the first book in the new duet. Paranormal Romance is one of my favorites to read as a whole. This first book has a good start into this new existence.
Darcy and Jack have always been attracted to each other. They shared one kiss then Jack disappeared for twenty years. No other man could hold a candle to Jack for Darcy. She’s always a bridesmaid never a bride. So when she sees Jack at her cousin’s wedding she can’t believe her eyes.
There’s much to learn about Jack and Darcy in this first book of It’s You. There’s much for the characters to learn about themselves as well. Even though Jack has been a grown up for 20 years he’s coming across some realizations he never “saw” before. You never know what you’re going to see when you open your eyes to what’s in front of you. 🙂
I like how Katy has given you details about each of the characters in the book without it being overly detailed. True to Katy’s style you’ll read several French phrases/sentences in the story. I’ve come to expect these from her now as this is the fourth book I’ve reviewed of hers that included French phrases in the story line.
If you love paranormal stories I think you’ll find an interesting twist to this particular book. Give it a go. I bet you’ll like it as well!
