I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
I will go ahead and tell you that once you start this book you are not going to be able to put it down. I was hooked from the first chapter. This is the story of Madden who is a rock star and the poor guy is having a hard time getting rid of his ex-girlfriend. She is relentless in wanting them to get back together and always shows up to make his annual trip to his friends lake cabin for the weekend miserable. This leads to the plan of him taking a fake girlfriend with him. But where oh where is he to find one. His brother has a serious girlfriend and he is able to convince Natalie to go with him. Will this crazy plan work and them leave the way they go or will things heat up between the two of them and lead to something amazing. You are going to love Madden and Natalie. They are so perfect for each other that you can see if early on in the book. However, there are characters in this book that you are going to be unable to give one flip about. Maddens ex is on horrible girl. I’d kind of liked to have jumped into this book and told her a few things or maybe slapped her. Madden’s brother is just gosh…selfish in all he does and a horrible boyfriend to Natalie. This is such a good story that I never wanted it to end. But it did and days later I am dealing with a book hangover. You do not wait to miss this book.
