Afraid because of that fateful night…she doesn’t know the lengths I’ll go to protect her. The blood spilled, the words said. Nothing deters my obsession… it’s wrong, immoral, to follow her and watch her at every turn but I can’t help myself. Her safety, her life. It’s the only thing of importance to me. This is a dark romance that is also taboo and might contain some triggers for some readers. This is the story of Luca and Claire. If you have read Fragile Wings you have read the beginning of their story and now we get their full story. I have been waiting on this one as I love reading Fragile Wings. This is not an easy journey and there is an age gap between them. Luca is also obsessed with Claire and he would do anything and everything for her. Now though an old enemy has been lurking around and is causing all kinds of serious trouble for Luca and Claire is in danger. This book will keep you on your toes and have you reading till you go from the beginning to the end. I really liked this story and hated to see it end.
