I’m honestly not sure where to begin with this review. Why? Because I’ve literally watched this author grow through her books. Not only in the way she writes, but in the way she makes “us” feel while we read her work. And when she releases a book like this….this incredibly emotional based masterpiece, I find it hard to express exactly how I feel…because she made me feel EVERYTHING!
Lily is a survivor. She’s had quite the life and struggles with putting one foot in front of the other, so to speak. While living with her grandmother and working at a retirement home isn’t exactly ideal, it’s life. While trying to escape an “ex” situation, she finds that her life is exactly what she needs right now. And then she walks in to a tattoo shop.
Lucas is…gah….everything! He’s the epitome of Alpha. But just like most, he’s been broken and has plenty of scars to go around. Running his tattoo shop has helped chase away most of his demons, but they still linger. So when Lily walks in to his shop, she’s the best breathe of fresh air he’s ever encountered.
Writing a review for an incredible book is very difficult when you don’t want to give even the slightest parts away. Trust me when I say that this book literally has everything you’ll need to satisfy your needs. You’ll laugh, cry and may even want to throw the book across the room a time or two. But you’ll walk away from this with one of the best book hangovers you’d ever had and will most likely want to re-read it over and over and over again. Yes….it’s THAT good.
P.s. – For those of you have been waiting for Lucas’ story, hold on tight. This is by far one of the best anticipated books out there. Enjoy!
