I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in The Broken Series. If you have not read Broken Trust you really should. You don’t have too but that book is really good and deserves to be read. This is the story of Jonas and Jessica. Jessica is a girl running from her past and when she meets Jonas she knows that she has to keep him at a distance. He is annoying, arrogant, and way to hot for her to be able to let her guard down. Jonas is a man who was born to be a protector and he thrives on protecting the innocent. His attraction to her is strong and he lives to banter with her. He knows that she is running scared and that everything in him is screaming at him to protect her. It however isn’t very long until the man from her past comes back and he will destroy everyone that she cares about and she knows this. The race is on to find him before he destroys everyone. I will go ahead and warn you that when you pick up this book you will not be able to lay it down. It is fast paced and hooks you from the first page. I rarely laid it down and I loved every single second of this book. I don’t want to say too much about it and give something away that I shouldn’t. But I was definitely hooked and loved every single second of it.
