This is the first book in the Bully King Duet from J.A. Huss. However you don’t have to worry about this book ending in a cliffhanger. It doesn’t. You get a full story and what a story it is. I devoured this book in a matter of hours. I absolutely could not put it down. This is the story of a exclusive private college and a society that I am still not sure I know that much about but I am holding out hope that we find out more about it in the second book. This however is just the beginning I feel and it is the story of Cooper and Cadee and a bunch of his friends. But there is only Ax and Lars that he considers his true friends. Cooper is in trouble. Big big trouble in the beginning of the book. His father is the ruthless and quiet frankly awful Chairman of the Elite Secret Society. Cooper is in trouble because of some things he did at a party the last night of school that ended with he and Ax and Lars being in the drunk tank. While they were there their fathers the Judge and the Sheriff. No chance he is getting out of what he has done and he must move home which he doesn’t want to do but most of all he must run summer rush and make sure that things come out exactly as they are suppose to. Cadee is the daughter of the man who use to be the gardener for the school and when he dies her mother is forced to take a job and they move to a tiny apartment. Now her mom has passed away and she has a feeling she is going to be kicked out. But when the chairman request for her to come to his office she finds out her mother intended to move far away and was taking her with her. Now though she is offered a job in the kitchen for the Glass House and she is offered a all paid scholarship to the school at the end of summer. Trouble is she doesn’t want to deal with Cooper ever again as she has been keeping a huge secret that he never wanted to get out and she wasn’t going to tell a soul ever. That is about all I feel comfortable letting you know about this book. If is filled with so many twist and turns and you will meet different characters in this book that you will love or hate. I just don’t know that I could have ever figured out the twists and turns in the book but I have to say that the ending was so satisfying that I was grinning when I finished. This book is a little on the dark side. I wouldn’t say that it is super dark but man it is secret upon secret upon secret and will have your head spinning. When I say that I mean it in the best way possible. You do not want to miss this book and I for one can not wait to have the next one in my hands. I don’t even really know what it is going to be about because this one is not a cliffhanger ending. I hope it is more about the secrets and everything that has gone on over the years to all these people. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!! It is amazing and you will not be able to lay this book down for one second.
