His lips told me he knew me.
His lips told me he knew me. His hands touched like we were old lovers. His eyes held secrets of a past I had never known. I was lost. Lost in the flowers that grew in the meadow. The devil told me he knew me. But lies had a way of unraveling, even if we didn’t want them to. The devil had a trick, for his love was full of acid. Acid that burned at every touch, every linger, and I let it scorch me to my core. A devil made you sin. And my devil was the worst. But now that devil wanted one last kiss, and it wasn’t one I was willing to give. He cold take the acid and leave the burn behind. I was keeping my heart even if I died trying.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Buried In Lies. What I got was a mind bending, breath taking wild ride of a love story with twists and turns you never see coming. I just finished this book and am still reeling from it. Buried In Lies is dark and dangerous and will have you turning the pages as fast as your able to read. I absolutely could not put it down. I can also say that I have never read any other book like it. The story was unique and crazy. It surprised me at times and you won’t know what is coming next with these characters. Jaya, Sylar and Toska are a threesome that never should have been. Jaya is I would say a girl who is searching for what she wants but she most definitely has no idea what love is at all. She has few friends but finds one in Toska and when she lays her eyes on Toska’s brother Sylar her world shifts. This begins a story that will blow your mind. I do not want to give anything away. This is a story best experience with as little about the story known as possible.
T.L. Smith has written a dark, mind bending story that you should not miss especially if you love books that are dark and push you as a reader.
