Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
The cliche in love stories is that the good little rich girl falls for the poor bad boy with tattoos. The glamorous prom queen gets knocked-up by the swoon-worthy tattooed boy that smells of leather and exhaust from his motorcycle. That is not how this story goes. Elias Black may have had a sleeve of tattoos and grownup on the wrong side of the tracks, but he didn’t have a true bad bone in his body. Until he feel for me. Then he was terribly bad.
This is the story of Elias and Sunny and how they met and basically knew they were meant for each other when he came to live with her and her family as a foster child. However they are torn apart from each other when his aunt shows up to collect Elias and his twin brothers. Both he and Sunny were devastated and swore to not lose each other and pledge to wait for each other. However life moves on and things do not always turn out the way you want them to. This is a story of unconditional love in it’s purest form. Its about two souls that know they belong to each other. However it is not that simple and their a parents in the way and twists and turns. High school is never easy and this group of characters that your going to be invested in goes though what we all have been though but it didn’t feel like a lot of the high school romances you read. It felt like so much more and you will not be able to put this book down.
