Release and Review
Synopsis
Cassidy James was your average seventeen-year-old girl, and senior in high school. She came from a traditional family with conventional morals and values. She was a friend to everyone, and an enemy to no one.
To me…
Cassidy James was so much more. Her hair flowed down her back like an angel’s would. Her eyes were so beautiful that they matched the color of the sea. Cassidy simply was the epitome of perfection. The only problem was when it came to Cassidy James…
We were just friends.
Virginia’s Review- 4 stars
I’ve read a few of Ashley’s books in the past, so I was excited to hear she was coming back after a break from writing.
Cassidy James is a sweet, young adult story about friends who turn into more. Cassidy and Graham have known each other since they were kids. Now they are in high school and the dynamic between them has changed. They grow, they learn, they make mistakes and they discover. All part of life. Cassidy is adorable even when she makes you want to pull out your hair- she can be a little blind to what’s going on around her. Graham is a doll. He’s adorable and so sweet. I love young adult books and loved seeing the dynamic between all of the characters.
Cassidy James is full of trials and tribulations- ones many of us went through in high school- and keeps you wanting to read more. Told in dual point of view, Cassidy James is a sweet, light, fun story with angst that you will enjoy. Go one click!
