When I stumbled into a mafia run club seeking a job, I was looking for protection. Little did I know I’d need protection from him. Conor O’Callahan was exactly the kind of danger I was trying to avoid. He was gorgeous as sin with an accent hotter than Hades, but that’s were the charm ended. He was also cynical, cold and downright cranky. So you could imagine my surprise when he gave me a proposition. Marry him or lose my life. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I’ve learned to do what’s necessary to survive in this world, and I guess that includes marrying a mobster. Regardless of what he might say, it’s only temporary. It’s not like I’m going to sleep with him. Or fall for him. Because that would be stupid right?

Conor is set in A Zavarelli’s fabulous Boston Underworld. This is the sixth book and if you haven’t read this series yet then you are missing out. I have loved each and every one of these books. Conor is not an exception and your going to fall in love with him just like I did. As far as alpha males go, Conor is perfection. He is also the perfect protector for Ivy too!! She sure got more than what she expected when it came to Conor. This book has the darkness that you have come to expect from the series but it also is very emotional. Conor and Ivy will have you all over the place while on the edge of your seat. This is a book, heck so is the entire series, you do not want to miss.
