I have read quite a few of Eva Winners books, but I must say that this book ranks right up there with the best books she has written that I have read. This is the story of Alessio and Autums and oh what a mafia bad bad boy he is. I think there is a little bit of everything that goes on in this book from insta-love to secret pregnancy, to the mafia. When he meets the woman that he must have from the moment he sees her I have to say that there banter was everything. I is a bad bad man, a take no prisoners kind of guy and he is smoking hot. She is one tough cookie and she gives as good as she gets. Autumn and him meet when she was eighteen and best friends with his sister. but even then he wanted her but was a patient man and bides his time until the time was right to have her four years later. We span eight whole years in this book too. However when she thinks that he has betrayed her she goes on the run and he can’t have that. The chase is one and oh what a great book it was to read. I so can not wait to see what we get in the next books that follow.
