I just want to say as a resident of Western North Carolina that I am honored and thrilled to see one of my most favorite authors and people in the world revealing an anthology cover to benefit the aid and recovery of my home. It has been a devastating twelve days. To see it in pictures does not do it justice. There is so much of theΒ mountains that I call home that no longer exists. If you have ever visited my part of the state of N.C. then you know the beauty of places like Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and Biltmore Village. I can’t even explain in worlds the devastation, loss of life, homes and infrastructure. Those places were literally wiped off the map. My heart is heavy, my mind wants to run from this place and never look back, but my heart and soul are here. It’s home and we will survive. Thank you to these amazing authors!!! I can’t express to you what it means to me and so many people that you are dedicating your words, your hearts, and your time to this project. You guys are absolutely amazing!!!
