I love that Freya Barker gives us older couples to read about. In Covering Ollie you will meet Ollie and Joe. She has her own business in town and is raising her teenage daughter, Trinny. She isn’t one to let her disability stop her from doing anything. They have a really good life in the small quiet town of Durango Colorado. She sure isn’t expecting her new neighbor to be Joe, the new chief of police who has two teenage sons of his own and whose wife has passed away. These two are just absolutely wonderful character’s. However as well a life as Ollie has worked for and provided she has a past and that past is coming back. This book will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is really really good and I loved every minute of it.
Freya Barker inspires with her stories about ‘real’ people, perhaps less than perfect, each struggling to find their own slice of happy.
She is the author of the Cedar Tree and Portland, ME Series, the Northern Lights Collection and the Rock Point Series. She is also co-author of the SnapShot Series.
