I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Crystal Castle Series. You need the read the first book Unlikely Queen or you are going to be lost. I also don’t have a clue how to review this book as I feel like anything I say is going to be a spoiler. I will tell you that you have to be ready to go down the rabbit hole with TL Smith on this one but I loved every second of it. Unlikely Queen was a great book and the reason you need to read it is because you get all the background for what is to come in that book. You also might want to buckle up for this one because it is go time from the second you pick up this book. It is filled with twists and turns that will keep you head spinning while one the edge of your seat trying to catch your breath. Told primarily from Talia’s point of view you do get to get into the head of Tatiana, Tanya and Grim. It was great to see Talia, her sisters and the wolves all existing together. Talia absolutely does not want the throne and Viper has taken over the castle and absolute chaos is reigning supreme. This was such a good book. You will not be able to put it down.
