 Aston Locke
Whispers of the Locke brothers fill the town, facts and reality twisted to fit what these motherfuckers believe they know about us.
That we’re sadistic bastards, incapable of any real emotions or fear.
Maybe they’re not wrong about that.
That is, until I set my sights on Kadence King, getting just as drawn to her as I am the darkness. It’s the first time I’ve felt anything in a long time.
But would she really be scared knowing the depth, the lengths I go with my brothers to make any fucker who crosses us pay?
I need a woman who can accept me for who I am.
For what I am.
I’m hoping like hell it’s her, because I want nothing more than to claim her as mine…

Kadence King
I know Aston’s dangerous, know people fear him. But I want him. I’m drawn to him, just as he’s drawn to the darkness.
I should be afraid of him, should turn the other way, but I can’t. I’ve gone mad and let him in my room, in my life, allowing him to consume me.
He possesses me, dominates me. Aston Locke shows me what it means to want to be claimed by him and only him.
And when he tells me I’M HIS, I have no doubt that’s the truth.
Because in the end it’s what I want too.
No matter how dangerous he is…

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Welcome to any small town in America. People talk and seem to have their nose in everyone’s business. In the town where the Locke brothers reside they are feared. Everyone knows that you do not cross a Locke and get away with it. They take care of their own brand of justice to the scum in their town. They don’t play around with it either and have gotten a reputation to where everyone closes their doors, locks their windows and don’t see a thing when it comes to the Locke brothers. You don’t cross a Locke ever. Aston is the youngest of the Locke brothers and what a story he has to tell. This poor guy. I wanted to just take him into my arms and hold him and tell him everything would be ok. He’s seen the worst he could as a kid and he’s been through more stuff than most at his age. When he lays eyes on Kadence though his whole world tilts on its axis. Neither one of them can look away and Kadence isn’t exactly seeing him at a very good time. She’s been warned by her roommate about staying away from the Locke brothers. But, there is something about the youngest Locke that Kadence wants to know more about. Heck she wants to know everything there is about Aston Locke.

This story pulled me in from the first page and I didn’t put it down until I was finished. I could have stayed in the Locke brother’s world for days and days. I loved Aston. He pulled at my heartstrings and melted me a time or two. I equally loved Kadence too. She is from a small town and has learned the hardest way possible to never judge anyone. You never know what someone has been through in life. I agree. You might just miss some pretty amazing people and experiences if you live your life in a closet. These two characters are so perfect for each other. Two broken souls that fate has brought together. You will have to read the story to find out why. I do not want to give anything away at all.

It is no secret that I am a huge Victoria Ashley fan. She could write a cookbook and I’d read it. I just love the stories she has to tell and the way she tells them. I do not think I have ever read a Jenika Snow book before this one. That has to be fixed quickly as they both did any amazing job with Damaged Locke. I could not tell you which author wrote which part of this book. And I am quiet the Victoria Ashley expert. It flows so well you’d never think that two people had written this book together. Now I am eager to get my hands on the next book in this series. I just know that Sterling and Wynter are going to have quiet the story to tell.

**Carla’s Five “Locke Induced” Stars

This is the first book in the Locke Brothers series, and it is Aston and Kadence’s story.

The Locke brothers own the small town that they reside in. Doling out some much needed justice to every low life around is what they do. They are known for kicking a** and taking names! Aston Locke is the youngest brother, and he has lived through the stuff that nightmares are made of. He feels himself fading more and more with each passing day. He is struggling just to survive. Until her. Kadence King. Kadence is no stranger to loss herself. Following her mother’s death, Kadence packs up her belongings and moves to a new town to live with her best friend, Melissa, having no idea that her life is about to change forever. The night she first locks eyes with Aston, she feels her entire world tilt on it’s axis. Even when Melissa warns her and I quote “the youngest Locke might look like a blonde angel, but I can assure you he’s as sinful and dangerous as they come”, she is still consumed with thoughts of him. What will happen when these two come face to face again?

I freakin’ loved this book! It is a story centered around love, family, and friendship. I fell hard for all three of the Locke brothers. Life may have knocked them down a time or two, but the bond they share with one another is unbreakable! And Aston and Kadence? Well, they were perfect for one another! One thing is blatantly obvious. When Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow come together and combine their “author superpowers”, the result is perfection!!

I’m crowding her. She’s nervous because of it, maybe even second-guessing letting me into her room.

I inhale. Fuck, she smells good, really damn good.

“I’m Aston Locke, a mean motherfucker that you just let all up in your space.” I lower my gaze to her throat, see her swallow, watch the slight curve move up and down. “Tell me your name,” I demand with a growl.

I could have said it a little nicer, tried to pretend and be sweet, gentle. But to hell with it; I’m not going to pretend to be someone I’m not.

“Kadence.” Her voice is soft and so damn innocent. “Kadence King.”

Kadence King.

God, how I want to defile her, make her see what all the hype is about concerning my brothers and me. I can imagine her naked, spread out for me, willing to do whatever the fuck I say. And she would submit to me, let me leave my marks on her, pretty purple and blue fingerprints that showed my ownership.

“What have you heard about the Lockes?” I want to hear her speak, want to know what she knows. Hell, I want to be pressed right up against her, her small body so soft where mine is hard.

I want to breathe the same air as her.

I want to fucking own her.

What the hell?

She swallows again, her breathing hard, fast.

She’s nervous.

I lower my gaze to her chest, see the way her tits press against the stretchy material of her shirt. Her nipples are hard, and my fingers itch to touch them.

I might be a dangerous bastard, a violent fucker, but I don’t touch a girl without her wanting me to. I’ll wait until Kadence begs me, asks me to push my dick deep inside her, making her mine.

“I heard you guys aren’t to be messed with.” Her voice is low, really damn low. “I heard you keep to yourself, aren’t social, and if someone crosses you guys…” She trails off, and I lift my brow, wanting more. “That you take care of it in the only way you know how.”

“The only way we know how?”

She nods and licks her lips. “With guns and bats, hammers, or whatever else you can find to make it bloody.”

I chuckle low. That’s about right.

“And you thought it was a good idea to let one of us in your room, this close to you?”

She shrugs, and I see something shift over her face. She’s trying to be strong.

Cute.

“Maybe not, but too late now.”
