Virginia’s Review
I’ve read Ava’s other books and loved them so I knew she wouldn’t disappoint with Deceit and I was right. Ava has written a brilliant story with Deceit.
Can a relationship started by a lie succeed? Deceit is beautifully written, full of angst, and an emotional roller coaster. Ava has a way with words that is just magic. She tells a story in a beautiful way and her writing is fluid, so emotional, and perfect. She sucks me in and I can’t get enough.
I fell hard for Oliver. There is something about a British male character that I love and Ava nailed it. I swear she must have been British in a former life. His and Addison’s relationship is full of ups and downs for sure but all the angst and drama is needed for them to come full circle.
To say I loved Deceit is an understatement. I wish I could reread it again for the first time.

Renee’s Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports. I needed to get away. My ex was getting married. So, Ieft. The English countryside was a picture-perfect escaep. The dashing stranger an even better one. And what started as a chance encounter quickly became more. He promised to show me how to live, how to feel alive and forget a past best forgotten. He made me believe things could be different. That ws until I found out who he was…He was Oliver Blackthorn. The sixteenth Earl of Lockhart. Thirty third in line to the throne and a liar. This book is so good. This is the story of Addison Pierce and Oliver Blackthorn who is the 16th Earl of Lockhart. This he fails to tell Ava from the very beginning. Like most of us would Addison is having some terribly mixed feeling about her ex getting married. He was suppose to be the love of her life. Not off marrying someone else. Addison decides to get out of twon and head to a village in Englad and has every intention of escaping her feelings. Oliver finds himself in the same village handling a estate land issue when he sees Addison and he befriends her to help him settle this mission. What neither of them cound on is their feelings. This book is so true to live and I was go engrossed in it I practically dovoured it. This is a book that you will want to read. I loved it and I am sure you guys will too
