Title: Del Diablo

Stygian Isle was born from the brilliant mind of an abominable man. The Alistair patriarch and sovereign of the nonconformist crafted a peaceful refuge for those unashamedly wicked.
From his creation came a secret society of filthy heretics.
Carnal sin and mayhem fuel their religion.
Sex and death drench their doctrine.
They indulge in the taboo and immerse themselves in madness.
We were brought here to be sacrificed by body and soul.
Until death grants us a sweet escape, we are to forget who we once were and become everything they desire.
Disclaimer: The inhabitants of Stygian Isle have zero regard for right and wrong. Please read with an open mind and the understanding that nothing here is off limits.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is a the beginning of a new series from Natalie Bennett. Or maybe I should say that she introduces us to her new world in this novella. You also need to know this is a dark story and will hold triggers for some readers so you need to heed the warnings. This book introduces us to the world of Stygian Island and the upcoming Muerte. I actually had to look up what Muerte means because I mean come on, inquiring minds have got to know. The meaning is death or murder. This book wastes no time taking off and you are thrown right into this very twisted world head first without a life jacket. If you have read Natalie Bennett before then you know what you are signing up for when you pick this book up. It’s dark and twisted, contains some gore a super dark cult and human sacrifice. Oh my!!! This is about Adelita who really doesn’t know that she has been being watched for years by Draven Alistairs. He has been patient and bided his time until it was time to take what was rightfully in his mind, his. And that’s her. It’s not long before she realizes she is part of a ritual and not just any ritual but a super dark and satanic one. Oh my. All she has ever wanted was to go on a date with the very hot Draven. But, she soon will figure out she got way way more than that date she was wanting. I don’t want to give the story away but I devoured this dark and twisted introduction. I can’t wait to get the full book in my hands.
With a penchant for (writing) villainous immoral men, and a tendency to deviate away from traditional happily ever afters, Natalie Bennett is an international bestselling author of twisted and unconventional love stories.
When she’s not slaying words she’s somewhere in the sunshine state, happily taking life one curve-ball at a time.
