I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Ares and Neve and I have to confess that I do read a lot of dark romance. A lot of dark Mafia romance and I have to say that this is one of the best ones that I have read this year. I was hooked and could not lay this book down. I don’t even know how to really tell you much about this story and not give something away. Ares is a possessive head of the Greek Mafia and pretty new to being the God of War. He has worked really hard to get to where he is and is always about family first. He is man that won’t let anything get in his way or stop him from doing what he has set out to accomplish. Neve was born into the Irish Mafia and has worked really heard to move beyond her family name and have moved out and is now attending college. However this doesn’t mean that she could ever not be a part of her family and all that it entails. She is also a girl that has a very dark past that she has moved on from but the past is about to come at her full speed ahead and she finds herself about to have to marry Ares to avoid a war between the Greek and Irish Mafia.
You are going to devour this book. Love these characters and the story they have to tell is just wow!! This is a book that you do not want to miss.
