DOM by S.J. Tilly is now live!

VAL

When I was nine, I went to my first funeral. Along with accepting my father’s death, I had to accept new and awful truths I wasn’t prepared for.

When I was nineteen, I went to my mother’s funeral. We weren’t close, but with her gone, I became more alone than ever before.

Sure, I have a half-brother who runs The Alliance. And yeah, he’s given me his protection – in the form of a bodyguard and chauffeur. But I don’t have anyone that really knows me. No one to really love me.

Until I meet him. The man in the airport.

And when one chance meeting turns into something hotter, something more serious, I let myself believe that maybe he’s the one. Maybe this man is the one who will finally save me from my loneliness. The one to give me the family I’ve always craved.

DOM

The mafia is in my blood. It’s what I do.

So when that blood is spilled and one funeral turns into three, drastic measures need to be taken.

And when this battle turns into a war, I’m going to need more men. More power.

I’m going to need The Alliance.

And I’ll become a member. By any means necessary.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Val and Dom. If you like morally gray men then you are going to love Dom. He is a little more than slightly unhinged man who is on a mission to get the help of The Alliance. He has to become a member. He is also in the mafia and they are losing men left and right and the time has come to go to war. He needs more men and more power. Val is the key to getting him what he needs. But he sure never imagined that this girl would be the one who would steal his heart and he never wants it back. Val has been through so much in life. She lost her father when she was nine and she certainly wasn’t prepared for the new and awful truth of things. When she was nineteen she lost her mom. At her funeral she realized hat she was all alone in the world. She does have a half brother and He runs The Alliance. His way of protecting her is to give her a bodyguard and a driver. Still she is alone and lonely but in the airport something unexpected happens and she meets Dom and she just knows that he is the one. Little does she know that he desperately needs things from her.
This story is full of twists and turns, and you will not be able to lay it down. I loved these characters and the story and writing were just absolutely amazing.

Meet S.J. Tilly

Like all her books, S.J. Tilly resides in the glorious state of Minnesota, where she was born and raised. To avoid the freezing cold winters, S.J. enjoys burying her head in books, whether to read them or write them or listen to them.

When she’s not busy writing her contemporary smut, she can be found lounging with her husband and their herd of rescue boxers. And when the weather permits she loves putting her compost to use in the garden, pretending to know what she’s doing. The neighbors may not like the flowery mayhem of her yard, but the bees sure do. And really, that’s more important.
