I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Rylee so has been betrayed by her spouse. She is literally about to jump off a bridge when she gets an email from a complete stranger. This message ends up saving her life and touching her deeply. These letters keep coming as Thomas Dane fore the next decade writes to this dead girl. What he doesn’t know is that while he’s growing from a young man to a hardened criminal, Rylee is reading every word he writes. He doesn’t have a clue. However when she decides it is time to let the cat out of the bag he is furious and is beyond mean and cruel to her. It is really unforgivable. However she stands her ground and doesn’t back down from him. There is then a warn that is filled with punishment and passion and hate dominates. Until he loses her. Amid looming danger and unsolved murders rise a devotion forged in strife. Love is lethal in this ruthless world. To survive it, they must fight for answers and each other.
Man this book sucked me in and I was done with it before I knew it. I love when a book does that. Tomas and Rylee are beyond addicting. Oh I need to tell you that this book is dark and gritty and and will have you all over the place. There is just something about this book and these characters that made me fall so hard for them and they twisted me in knots. Now lets talk banter. If you love good banter between characters then you are going to love the banter between these two. I don’t think there is one thing that I didn’t love about this book. Pam Godwin has written some epic and amazing books in this series and I have loved them all but this one just go to me and I loved it. Devoured it and can’t stop thinking about it at all. This is a happily ever after that was hard fought for and deserved and I promise you will love it just as much as I do.
