I loved this book. I love all these taboo treats. If you have read the previous ones then you know your in for a short story that feels like a full length novel and certainly there is going to be something taboo. This book has a age gap in it but all the characters are over the age of eighteen and an age gap has never really bothered me. This is the story of Dr Dan or Dr Venable who recently discovered he is the father of a eighteen year ole he never knew about and he is adjusting to life with her and her older boyfriend and the girl who was in foster care with her that she is determined to adopt. He meets eighteen year old Lauren when she shows up in he ER and he is her physician. He knows there is more going one than she is willing to talk about but she is terrified and for good reason. This will be the beginning of their relationship and I don’t want to give anything else away. I fell so in love with these characters. I was so emotionally invested in their story that I never wanted to end. This is one of my favorite taboo treats from K Webster. You guys do not want to miss this one.
