A man born to ride through this world alone.
There used to be a time when I thought I was the rescuing type. I enlisted in the Marines and made it my duty—I was going to save lives.
I was going to be a true American hero.
But God had another plan.
Or maybe Satan did.
For everything I touch finds mortality.
I’m no hero.
I’m nothing.
I’m a veteran biker, a former nomad who survived war only to live in hell.
Now I ride with the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn and I’m drifting into a different kind of chaos.
The kind that revolves around a pretty girl with intoxicating green eyes.
A girl who has the power to turn me inside out.
A girl who doesn’t need anyone to rescue her because she’s her own savior.
Until she’s not.
But a man plagued by war and the devil inside him can never be her hero.
Gina Spinelli
Strong. Independent. Fierce.
They are the three things I strived to be.
But sometimes being successful can be lonely.
Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl and have someone take care of her.
Maybe even love her.
Sometimes the strong become vulnerable.
Or worse, the victor becomes the victim.
Sometimes we lose control or in my case it’s stripped from you.
Defeated. Broken. Haunted.
They are the three things I have become.
In my darkest hour I admit defeat.
In my darkest hour I need one person.
I need him.
Stryker.

**Carla’s Five Star Review**
Drifter is the first book in the Nomad series, and after reading it, I just have one question-where in the heck can I find the Ten Star review button? Five stars are just not enough!
Okay friends, this books comes with a warning page, and you definitely need to read it! This story is raw and real, and, it is evident that this author had to dig deep and push beyond her comfort zone to create such a no holds barred story.
Stryker is a man who has been to hell and back and has the emotional and physicals to prove it. He is an ex marine and nomad biker who becomes a part of the Satan’s Knights MC. Gina is a fierce woman trying to make it in a man’s world. When these two come together, their connection is nothing short of epic! I swear every time Stryker called Gina his “pretty girl”, I totally swooned! I can honestly say that I felt ever emotion Janine claimed I would while reading this story. I cursed, I screamed, I cried, I laughed and eventually I smiled. I also needed a cold shower and a good stiff drink (or maybe five) 😉
Janine Infante Bosco hit it out of the park with this first book in what I am certain is going to make my all time favorite series list! Simply Phenomenal!!
Renee’s Million Star Review
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Stryker is a drifter. A man born to ride thought this world alone. He’s a Marine who served his country in Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD. He turned in his MC patch and became a nomad only to be recruited to join the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn. He’s drifting into a whole other kind of chaos. The kind of chaos with green eyes and a pretty girl attached to them. She’s got the ability to turn him inside out. She’s doesn’t need a savior. She’s more than capable of taking care of herself. Until the moment she’s not. He wants to be her hero but how can a man with the devil inside him ever be her hero?
Gina Spinelli is strong, independent, spunky and fierce. She’s successful in a male dominated world of the stock market, but lonely. She wants to be loved. To be taken care of. Until Stryker drifts into her life as a one night stand. When all Gina’s control is stripped from her she’d defeated and doesn’t know if she will ever be the woman she was before. It’s her darkest hour and she needs Stryker.
Holy wow!!! It’s not a shocked holy wow because I knew before I even picked this book up that Janine Infante Bosco would no doubt rock my world. She always leaves me on the edge of my seat and breathless. With Drifter though I found myself on the edge, breathless and so emotional. The story of Stryker and Gina is not sunshine and lollipops. Stryker is damaged. He’s lost everything and watched way to many people die. The only thing he came back with from Afghanistan was an American flag and a whole lot of guilt and terrible memories. My heart broke so many times for him. For every solider who suffered daily just to survive. You don’t just read this book you feel it to the very deepest depths of your soul. There’s just no way to explain it adequately. You have to experience it. I loved the meeting of Stryker and Gina. Trust me Stryker has my favorite dirty mouth on him and makes a lot of dirty promises. You could feel the electricity between them from the moment Stryker laid eyes on Gina. Gina has her shares of things she’s like to forget like her brother Rocco. Yes the newly crowned personally picked by Victor, head of the Pastore crime family. So many twist and turns take you on a journey with Stryker and Gina your not likely to ever forget.
Five Facts:
1. Drifter is a must read.
2. Your heart won’t be the same when you finish this book.
3. Nobody writes a book like Janine Infante Bosco. She’s the Queen
4. Stryker is a close second to Blackie in my book boyfriend department.
5. Remember our soldier’s returning from war!!! They’ve seen things our
nightmares don’t come close to. It’s sad their left to just fend for themselves
in silence.
I will be impatiently waiting for the next book Wanderer which is Cobra’s story. I’ll say it one more time in case you missed it. You must read Drifter. If you don’t your missing out on something absolutely amazing.
