Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in the Corium University series from J.L. Beck and C Hallman. You have to have read the first book King of Corium or you are going to be lost. Drop Dead Queen picks right back up where Kings of Corium ended. Since this is a series I might as well go ahead and warn you that there is another cliff and this one might just cause you to lose your mind a little bit. I could not wait to be back with Aspen and Quinton again and they did not disappoint. We have all heard the expression because of the sins of fathers….well these two are a product of those sins and really are suppose to hate each other with a passion. But things don’t always go like you think they are going to and no matter how hard they try to be the enemies their fathers expect there is just something really strong that keeps drawing these two to each other. No matter how hard Quinton tries to push Aspen away, in reality she is the only one who can calm his mind from all the chaos that runs through it. These two are pure fire and the books has so many twists and turns and things that you never see coming but again the ending is going to make you wanna throw something. Just don’t break your kindle. That is never good. I can not wait for the third book. I need to know what is going to happen like yesterday.
