I allowed her to get to close and in the end, she burned me. To keep the secrets of the Elite, I seduced her. The distraction worked, but like a moth to a flame, I singed my wings. She will pay for my mistake. And I will never repeat it. Meting out my revenge will be so sweet. And this time, I will not take care with her heart. This is the second book in the Hear No Evil Trilogy. You have to read East End first or you are going to be lost. East if feeling betrayed and if that has ever happened to you, you know that it is not a great feeling at all and you want pay back. But Nyla feels the same exact way. They both feel like they have been betrayed by the other. But East wants payback, big time. Nyla though only wants her father to respect her and not look down on her. This lead to her getting her job back with interpol because she had limited sources to finish the job that she was suppose to complete. And in that she is helping the London Lords finish their goal but they are running out of time. I just don’t know how to tell you about this book and not give something away. It is a really great book that you will not put down. There are so many twists and turns in this book it will keep you guessing to the very end. Don’t however forget a but East….never ever count him out.
