Holy Goodness!!!! If you love the dark and dirty side of K Webster that has you one the edge of your seat trying to figure out what exactly is going on then you are going to love El Malo. I loved it so much a devoured this book in a day. When Rosa was a child her favorite place to go and eat was in Mexico at a little diner where her mom knew the people and they always made a table for them. They lived in Texas and her father is in prison. He was not a good man but her mom was in love with the monster that he was and loved him with all her being. On a fateful day that Rosa begs to go to the cafe in Mexico to eat her mother gives in and takes her hoping she isn’t making a mistake and making herself late for her job. Seated in the kitchen members of the El Malo gang come in and because of a debt shoot up the kitchen and end up killing her mother. Now Rosa has spent her life preparing to take the bad men down. Now she is in Javier Estrada’s estate as his most trusted maid and is feeding all the info she can to her boss. But, everything is about to turn on its heels and Rosa’s life has she knows it is about to be turned upside down. In the process though Roas is going to discover who she really is and not who she thinks she has to be. This side of Rosa is my favorite. I loved Javier and you know that K. Webster has added that special tough to this book when you fall for the devil himself. He is evil personified as the head the the El Malo. However there is a side to Javier that I had so much fun discovering. This book is just absolutely amazing and K Webster has woven a dark tale that will have you reading as fast as you can and not putting the book down for anything. Heck the laundry and supper can wait. After all, your going to be reading something absolutely amazing.
