Here’s a tip: never trust a jackass in preppy clothing.
The phrase “trust me” should have been my first clue to hightail it out the door, but hindsight is always 20/20.
So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn’t see, but whose voice made my pants tighten—and not around my ankles.
Before I knew what was happening, I’d signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for forty-two days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn’t be so bad.
I’ve always been a levelheaded guy. I am a successful, smart, and shrewd business man. But that was when I was listening to the head above my shoulders. Once the blood traveled south, I always ran into trouble.
She called me Mr. Wrong, and that was fine with me.
Lesson learned: lust always trumps logic.
Virginia’s 5 Star Review:
There is something about Finding Mr. Wrong. Well, there are a lot of things. I just can’t get it out of my head.
Have you ever read a book and-
1. Just loved every single thing about it?
2. Cannot stop thinking about it?
3. Want to reread it?
4. Are jealous of everyone reading it for the first time because they get to experience it and you wish you could again for the first time?
Finding Mr. Wrong is that book for me. I just can’t let it go. I can’t stop thinking about it. I want to reread it all over again and experience all that it is again. Which says a lot because I never reread books. EVER. I read a book and I move onto the next one. I mean, why reread a book when I have hundreds I want to read? But Jude keeps calling to me, which is an indicator of how much I loved this book.
Finding Mr. Wrong is fantastic. Ann Marie and Joanne totally nailed it. Every single thing about it is perfect. The story is different, refreshing and fun. The writing is flawless and seamless- you will seriously have no idea who wrote which parts. And they sure as hell know how to write a hot as hell, swoon worthy male character.
Let’s talk about Jude. Jude Soren is Mr. Freaking Right. My God, that man. That man and his cocky personality, that man and his mouth (and I mean that in more ways than one), that man and his sweet side. Just THAT MAN. He is so damn funny and so damn sexy and if you don’t fall in love with him, I’ll have to wonder why.
Brae and Jude are just fantastic together. The sexual tension and chemistry between them is off the charts and their banter is hilarious. I loved seeing how things progressed between them and watching their relationship grow.
I’m not kidding or exaggerating when I say that every scene is fantastic. This book gave me so many feels- I smiled, I laughed, I swooned over Jude, and my heart literally pulled in my chest at some of the sweet, tender, romantic moments.
If you want a book that is just perfect and will grab your heart and never let go, you must one click Finding Mr. Wrong!! It’s one of my favorite books ever and an absolute must read!!
Stephanie’s 4 Star Review:
I was given a copy of this book by the authors for an honest review.
I’ve been a long time reader of A.M. Madden but this is the first Joanne Schwehm novel. These two authors did a great job of writing pretty seamlessly together. I couldn’t tell who’s voice was whose – which is a plus in a cowrite so one voice doesn’t over power the other.
From the synopsis you can tell these two characters are forced together for a period of six weeks in a remote area. I don’t know about you – but there’s one so much of one other person I could take for six weeks without something to do. Jude and Brae had a few “tests” to complete in their time in seclusion. They really seemed to mesh well with one another.
Of course – as people do – these two make some mistakes. Costly ones. Y’all know me – communication is KEY! 🙂
Jude is an arrogant, rich Swede. Brae is a smart American with loads of worries. Between the two of them – they could even out the scales. Some might say it’s a recipe for disaster. I think they might just have found their spark.
