I’m not big on reading religious themed books, so when I was asked to review this book……..I was a little hesitant. Needless to say, it took me a while to get into this one. Sorry, just being honest.
But once I put my personal issues aside, I was able to enjoy the story that was being told. Was it a little too “preachy” for me at times, yes, but that’s just me. The underlined story itself was beautifully told and written.
Who doesn’t wish for love at first sight? I know every girl I know has. The story told between Kayla and Blake is just that…true love at first sight. Kayla has some issues that need to be conquered, but with Blake’s help and undying love, anything is possible. Even without the religious undertones, this was a wonderful young love story. It felt real, almost too good to be true at times, almost like the Author lived it herself.
*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from Stephanie’s Book Reports in
exchange for an honest review.
