I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Followed by the Dark is a standalone in this series. However it follows the plot of the Dark Series Trilogy. To get a better understanding of what is going on in the plot of this book it is highly recommended that you read those books first. I have read that trilogy and it is equally as amazing as this book is and if you have not read them you will love them. This is also a dark romance and you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book.
This is the story of Denielle and Marcus and I will tell you that is it one emotional roller coaster ride from the beginning to the end. These two characters have some fiery passion that you are going to be loving every second of it. However what makes it really fun is how they try their hardest to deny it and stay away from each other. I don’t know that I have seen many characters that are drawn to each other like these two are. These two really go through quite a lot of twists and turns while sucking you in all the deeper to their story. I don’t know a way to tell you about the actual story without giving something away. So, you just have to trust me and dive in and enjoy the wild ride.
