I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Good gosh I loved this book. Dante is certainly a little different than most of the mafia men you read about in books. I don’t want to make him sound like a big old softie. He certainly isn’t but he goes about things in a different way. If you have been reading the series then you have met Dante and Mia but now you have their story. Mia is dealing with trauma from what she has been through and Dante knows it. In fact he is so well aware of the situation that he doesn’t want to bring her into his fold. She in turn doesn’t want to be in this world any more than she has already been dragged into. However he also knows that there is absolutely no way that he can deny how he feels. I love these two characters and they had quite the story to tell. I loved them together and you can literally feel their connection as you are reading this story. It is absolutely a really sweet story with a dark edge to it.
