Freeze Frame is the first full book in Freya Barker’s Snapshot Series. You need to read the novella Shutter Speed before reading Freeze Frame.
We met Ben and Isla in Shutter Speed. Get ready to pick up exactly where it left off. Ben being a DEA Agent has come to a point where he could care less. He gets no satisfaction anymore and would just as soon call it quits. Isla is the free spirited artist. She would rather be taking pictures than anything. Ben wan’ts Isla to be his. Soon he gets his wish and these two are so perfect for each other. But you and I both know when things are going so good in life you better look over your shoulder because you about to get smacked dead in the face with something. When Ben’s past comes back to haunt him the crazy begin. And I’m not talking about having a crazy day. I’m talking about the crazy some kind of medication might can fix. This woman is a nut. Let the Chaos begin.
I love Shutter Speed. In fact I remember devouring it. Freeze Frame for it’s part starts out a little more slowly and it felt like it too me forever to get into this book. Once I did get into it I didn’t want to put i down. It is a series I am really enjoying and I think lots of people would to.
**Carla’s Five Star Review
Freeze Frame is the first full length novel in the Snapshot series. However, there is a novella, Shutter Speed, which you need to read before this book. Okay, I really loved Shutter Speed. It is a quick and easy read that is sure to leave you wanting more. Also, through Shutter Speed, we are introduced to Ben and Isla. Freeze Frame picks up right where Shutter Speed left off. Ben has been an undercover agent with the DEA for years. He has always loved his job, but he is just tired of it all. Isla is a free spirit who likes to wander the woods and take pictures of any and all kinds of animals. Isla just seems to have a way with people, and Ben wants Isla to be his woman. As these two begin to spend more and more time with one another, it doesn’t take long for them to fall in love. Life is bumping along great until a woman named Jahnee from Ben’s past shows up, and let me tell you this woman put the cray in crazy. Chaos ensues and danger abounds.
For fear of spoilers, I am not going to go into great depth regarding this story line. I will say that I really liked this book even though it did seem to drag a bit in the first half. With that said, this is a book I would have no trouble recommending to a friend.

Now married, a mother and still an avid reader, she stumbled upon the Indie author movement and became involved on several levels. Never in her wildest imagination would she have thought she would co-author a book. With the support of her family, she took the plunge, adding writing to an already busy literary existence.
She wouldn’t have it any other way.
What a fabulous two-for-one!! xox Thank you so much!
