Gray by Measha Stone Release and Review

This is a retelling of the story of Dorian Gray. I don’t think I even realized there was a story about Dorian Gray until this book and then I had to look it up and see what it was all about. A man whose soul lived in a painting and he never aged. How fascinating.
This Dorian Gray is a man who is collector of all the fine things. He for sure is a super interesting character that I just loved and I really love how we get to peel layers of him during this book that I just loved uncovering. Sylvia plays the violin and he knows that he just has to have her. At first he stays hidden and watches her from afar as his obsession grows. He has to have her mind, body and soul. Nothing is going to stop him from getting what he wants and it does not take very long for her to realize that he is a man who is not going to be denied. He will go to some of the most extreme measures to get what he wants. And the games begin. He isn’t gong to be satisfied until he breaks her and makes her the dirty girl he wants her to be for him. This story was very good. Sylvia might find herself in situations she didn’t want to be in and she is spunky and I really loved that about her. I can’t really tell you a whole lot more about this story or I might ruin something for someone and I would never want to do that. If you have read Measha Stone before then you know what you are getting yourself in to and I just love when she writes stories on the darker side. She is a master at it and her writing style just sucks you in from the beginning all the way to the very end.
