I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is a cookbook that contains some great looking recipes from some of our favorite authors and series. There is everything in there including appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts, cocktails, breakfast, and bakery recipes. I would list all the authors and recipes but there are a whole bunch of them. 44 of them to be exact. The first thing I noticed was that when you open the book you see the recipes and a picture of the dish you would be making. Some are more complicated that others but I would say that most of them look like if you cook you would have no problem at all. And I cook. Every single day so I am excited to have some new recipes to try out and my family will be happy to have something different to eat I’m sure. What really impresses you though, and I think it will everyone who has read book by these authors, is that it tells you which series the recipe is for and the name of the recipe pertains to something in that series. I have to say too that this cookbook would be amazing to have in a hardback edition to have and actual hold and even put on your recipe stand and I don’t even have one of those things. But I would sure run out and get on to just display this book when I’m not using it. I am telling you it is the coolest cookbook I have ever seen and the recipes look so yummy. I also have to admit that I might, well there is no might to it, have had a fangirl giddy moment when looking through this book and checking it out to see a series I loved and then a recipe for it!!! Coolest thing ever. I will be making these recipes. I have already tried on and then forgot to take the picture of it so I am going to make something else asap so I can proudly say this recipe was by this author from this specific series.
