I should have known that this was coming…
I’d done the right things, chosen the right friends, kept my grades up, primped and primed and smiled when I was supposed to, and then I escaped the clutches of the man they’d chosen for me. What. An. Idiot.
Or not, I suppose.
If I spend the year at Pendleton Prep, I can go back on my merry way. The problem is that life here is not exactly what I expected.
I’m not just another student, here to serve her time and get out. Oh no, that would never do. I’ve been wrapped up and served on a platter for the Devils of Pendleton Prep.
They’re hot, stupidly hot, and involved in something I want nothing to do with.
More than one of them has her set in their sights, but she’s already entangled in the world of the elite, they just don’t realise it yet. Where nine begin, only three will end… how far will they go to secure their place?
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story of Danielle. She is a girl who has tried to do all the right things by picking the right friends. She has kept her grades up. She has been super nice and looking her best when she was supposed to. However the one thing she couldn’t let stand was having a man chosen for her so she escaped his clutches. Now she is paying for that by having to go to Pendleton Prep for a year and then she can be on her merry way and get on with her life. However things don’t go exactly as she expects them to. She thought she could serve her time of the year and then move one. But that’s not at all what happens when she is served up on a silver platter to The Devil’s of Pendleton Prep. All of them hot and involved in things she wants absolutely nothing to do with. More than one is interested in her but they don’t realize that she is already entangled in the world of the elite. What starts at nine can only end with three…now it’s a race to see who will be able to secure their place.
This book is really good and I loved every second of it. I can’t really tell you what goes on in the book or I will give something away. However I need book to like yesterday. I need to know what is going to happen.

H.L Packer is, quite frankly, a busy bee.
An avid reader as a child, her love for all things written waned into adulthood, the excitement of real life things taking over. But when her life slowed down as she finished her office job for maternity leave, her husband purchased her an e-reader, and that obsession was rekindled.
Quickly she went from reader to reviewer, and then from reviewer to blogger; street teams and promo tours galore. When she began collating her own book boxes over at Romance Readers Book Box UK and had the opportunity to include her own words and worlds, the characters began talking.
Those cheeky characters quickly found themselves written down on the page, and her first series was in progress.
When she is not coordinating her worlds, you can find her running around after her free-spirited three children, and husband, or tending to the dogs, bearded dragons, and snakes that also reside with them.
A break can be found soaking in a bubble bath or enjoying a glass of wine, often still with a book in her hand.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
