I have to say this is my first R.G. Angel read. I didn’t have any clue what to expect when I started reading but I have to say that I really liked the writing style of this book and thought it was great. I will be reading more of R.G. Angel’s book. That’s for sure.
This is the story of Violet and Hoka. She is a sweet innocent young lady who is almost hit by a car with a man in all back saves her from what was about to happen. He is not an innocent older man dressed all in black that has her attracted to him right away. But he is the leader of the Japanese Mafia. She is about to get a really quick lesson in what the mafia world is like and has not a clue what she is in for. But with Hoka at her side she can face anything. This is a insta-love connection between them for sure. Violet has never had an easy life and the day of the accident she is utterly devastated and dealing with that and Hoka is a man of action that I don’t think anything ever really bothered. However we all know that relationship are never meet and fall in love and that something along the way is going to test you. But when Hoka thinks that Violet has betrayed him that’s the end of them. Will she ever forgive him and let him back in her life. Or is the best thing for her to do is to move on and forget she ever met Hoka? Read and you will find out. This book is action packed fast paces but ends with an ending and not a cliffhanger. I really enjoyed it. I spent a lot of the them on the edge of my seat and I just love when a book lands me there.
