CHRISTINA’S FIVE STAR REVIEW
What can you say about a book that had so many feels before I even opened the first page? That’s my problem right now. I’m seriously struggling with the words to help describe all of it…
Shane is one of the Inferno boys. He’s reckless, stubborn, loyal, caring and hot as sin…and yes, the cover does him absolute justice. But that’s besides the point. Where we may have originally thought he was just looking for fights and a way to get the twins in trouble, there’s so much more behind the man. He definitely chiseled away at my heart.
Brinley has been told to stay under the radar her entire life. With her father working for a security company and her mother dying early in her life, she’s been told not to trust anyone and look out for those who can and will hurt her. She knew Shane was one of those people the moment she saw him, well, the few times she saw him. But fate had other plans for her. Plans that opened her up to a whole new world. A world she was warned to avoid.
We learn SOOOOO much in this one! Pieces to the puzzle are starting to fit, but we’re also still left with more questions. One thing is for sure, I’m having a blast watching these men fall hard for women who give it right back at them. Is it wrong that I’m also enjoying watching Tanner become flustered sometimes? LOL
I think everyone knows by now that this story had been on a lot of our TBR lists for a long time (I’m trying not to cry right now). The strength, courage and sheer determination it took for this author to pick herself up and finish this book is something beyond the depths of understanding. Not only did she finish this book, but she kept her style, story line and sense of humor. A HUGE round of applause and kudos to Lily White. Not all heroes wear caps!
