“Hitched is a deliciously fun romp in the sheets with a swoon-worthy man.  If you’re looking for a sexy read, look no further.”
 – Courtney Cole, NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author –

He called me “wife.” This man standing naked in front of me. Tall. Dark. Sexy as sin… He’s my husband?

Hitched-KarpovKinrade-CoverDisjointed images from the night before, the night I can’t entirely remember, float into my mind. Meeting him in the bar. Sharing tidbits of our lives. I own a company that plans bachelor parties. He’s a pediatric heart surgeon. We both live in Las Vegas, but we come from very different worlds.

And then I remember that kiss. The way his lips brushed against mine, gentle at first, then harder, deeper, with more urgency. Sex in the elevator. Hot, forbidden, delicious.

I remember the way he made me feel. The way our bodies fit perfectly together. But I don’t remember marrying him. And now, he won’t let me go. Dr. Sexy who saves children for a living. He wants the summer to prove we are meant to be.

I can give him a summer. But can I give him a lifetime?

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…or it changes your life forever.

Stephanie’s 4 Star Review

Who wakes up married in Vegas?  Apparently Sebastian & Kacie do.  They’re even locals!  Determined not to give herself over to a relationship she files for an annulment.  Sebastian talks her into giving him the summer to prove they are meant to be.

This is a story with a little bit of drama but for the most part it’s tame.  Kacie is scared to commit to her marriage because she fears having to give up everything she’s worked for for her husband.  No matter how many times Sebastian tells her she doesn’t need to give up her business and stay at home – she just doesn’t get it.  It takes a hard lesson for her to actually get with the program.  I will say she was a little annoying at times with her obsession with her identity solely based on her business and not on who she would be/is with Sebastian.

Two is better than one.  If you’re in the right relationship the second person should always make you better than you by yourself could be.  It’s great to bounce off ideas with your significant other and learn new things with them as well.  It’s a hard lesson for some to learn.

I thought this book’s flow moved very smoothly.  Though the book is told in first person and written by two people!  I’m sure this isn’t an easy feat…and they’ve done this flawlessly!  I look forward to reading more books by these authors  as they work on this series.  I will look up their solo works as well.

I was given a copy of the book by the authors for an honest review.
