Blurb:   PLEASE AVOID THE BLURB FOR THIS BOOK. This story will hurt you a lot less if you scroll by and go in BLIND, trust me… But if you *have* to know what you’re getting into, you can read the synopsis below. I should’ve known better. I should’ve left her alone… She told me she was twenty-one. I found out that was a lie. There was over a decade between us, and sure, she was mature for her age, but I kept my distance every chance I could. At least, I tried to. There aren’t too many places to hide on a boarding school’s campus, and there are far more places to get caught… I never intended for this to happen. I was her English professor, and she was only supposed to be my student. **See?That’s why you shouldn’t have read this blurb and went in blind. Alas, this is an emotional ride of a romance with toxic undertones that will drive you to some unexpected places.

The author just felt like writing this story one day, so don’t say you weren’t warned about what you were getting into.**

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Genevieve and Liam. She is a student at Phillips Exeter Academy and he is her creative writing professor. I don’t really know if I should say a lot about this story line since the author has a big note on top of the description of the book to not read it. I can tell you that this book takes place at a boarding school and you can imagine if you have an attraction to someone you really shouldn’t that it would be mission impossible at a school like that to stay away from each other. This is a student/teacher romance and there is an age gap. If you like a book where the characters have this instantly fiery attraction to each other, you go through the good the bad and the ugly with the characters, and a happily ever after that is hard fought for then you are going to love this book. It does have some dark elements to it but I really loved reading this story. There are also some surprises in this book and you will run the emotional roller coaster with these characters. It is a book worth reading for sure.
