Imperfectly Beautiful is the second book in the La Flor series, and it is
the story of Andre and Julia. While this book is mostly a romance, it does
contain some paranormal elements.
When Julia was eighteen years old, she met Andre. He was charming and
handsome, and she fell in love with him on the spot. They each had the
world at their feet along with great plans for their future. As is the
norm, life happened, and their plans had to be adjusted. As the years
passed, the life that they built together slowly began to unravel. A
terrible tragedy paired with the ultimate betrayal led to the demise of
their family. For both Andre and Julia, the years that followed were empty
and full of despair. When something unexplainable happens, Andre and Julia
are reunited. Will they be able to overcome the past and find the peace
and forgiveness that so desperately seek?
After reading and thoroughly enjoying the first book in this series, Leap
of Faith, I was really excited to read this second book. As you read this
book, you should definitely have the tissues close by! This book will make
you cry, break your heart, and finally put it back together in the end. If
you are looking for a good romance with some paranormal thrown into the
mix, you should give this series a try!!
