This is a dark romance. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. There are a lot of them so make sure you check them carefully. If you haven’t read the first book in this series, Sins of Betrayal, you will want to do that. This book is about a different couple but there is a continuation in the story from one book to the other.
There is a lot that happens in this book. From the moment you pick it up and start reading there is constantly something happen. You never have to worry about a lull in this book. This is the story of Sarge and Joslyn. These two are some seriously broken characters. They also carry the reputation s f being the ultimate sinners. If you read the first book, you know that some of the things that were hinted at were about Sarge and Joslyn. Now you get those moments in living color in this book and don’t have to wonder anymore. The answers keep coming by us getting to see the full story between Joselyn and Jordyn her identical twin sister. This book will break your heart at times too when you go though the things that Joslyn goes through. It will also make you mad. I know that it did me. You always trust the two people who are supposed to love you more than anything and she has never had that in her life.Then you have Sarge and his ultimate sin. I have so many opinions bout this but I will let you discover it for yourself . This is a dark book like I said and you need to take that seriously. But it is such a good book. One that you will not be able to lay down.
