Kill the King by Elizabeth Dear Release and Review

This is the third and final book in the A Knight’s Revenge Series. This is a dark romance and you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It might contain triggers for some readers.
You will also need to read Storm the Gates and Seize the Castle before Kill the King or you will be very lost.
We pick up right where we left off in Kill the King and Zach is missing, Bennett has finally let go of his stoic self and has finally and I do mean finally told Jojo how he feels. I have been waiting on that forever but if it hadn’t been that way then Bennett wouldn’t have been Bennett really. After all his entire world along with Zach and Noah’s has been a huge lie. Now the hunt if on for Zach and I should not have been surprised who had him and my ire for that person only grew more and more. I mean come one. How horrible can one human be. I have to shut up about that or I am going to spill the beans. Now the time has come to act to take down the Ferrero and Spencer empires. Bennett’s mom is in this book more and I just loved her. Andrea and James are being as evil as they have ever been and mean while while they are focused on saving everything they hold dear, Jojo and the guys along with the Shadows are slowing taking their empires apart piece by piece. I have to shut up about the story but I could go on and on and on about it for a very long time. But, I have to shut up or I really am going to spoil something. This is the pay off. The moments we all have been waiting for. The day we get what we have wanted since we first read Storm the Gates. I loved every single one of these characters. I don’t think I could pick a favorite if I had too. The guys are absolutely amazing and at times I wondered how they turned out so great with the influence they had growing up. I am glad that Bennett didn’t back down from his feeling for Jolie and he owned them. Heart and soul. These are childhood friends turned in to so much more. Even after everything that Jolie has been through I loved that she still had a heart of gold and only ever wanted to do the right thing. Took care of the people that have helped her along the way. Found another family that she never expected to have. She is certainly one of my all time favorite female characters. Then we have the academy and the people there that have treated our JoJo horribly and are holding out for the Four Families. Don’t worry though we get to see what happens to them and I can’t say that I did not love every single second of them getting what was coming to them. I can’t say enough about this series. It will forever be one of my favorites and I for sure will not be missing anything that Elizabeth Dear writes. There are so many side characters in this book and it is really easy to keep up with all of them it is so well written. But with all these characters I am really hoping that some more books will come out of this series. I bet Jolie’s bestie Mari has quiet the story to tell and I would love to fall in to Frankie Fingers mind for a little while too. You guys!!!!! Do not miss this series or you are missing something absolutely amazing.
