He thought that was enough to make him forget his past.
Enough to transform his distrusting heart.
Turns out that’s not how it works…
Then he meets a bridesmaid hiding out in a hotel bar.
Probably the only girl on the planet who doesn’t know who he is.
But she seems to be the one girl who can give him something no one else can.

Aubrey Prescott just discovered her boyfriend cheating—at her sister’s wedding.
Trying to escape humiliation, she seeks refuge in a hotel bar.
While trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces of what was supposed to be an amazing senior year in college, a handsome stranger interrupts her wallowing.

But walking away doesn’t always mean letting someone go.

CHRISTINA’S FIVE STAR REVIEW:

You know when you pick up a rock star book that it’s gonna be, well, rockin’ and rollin’. But what makes this one pretty amazing that this isn’t the typical girl meets rock star and falls hard. Nope, this is more the opposite. And I fell in love with the heroine even more because of it.

After being completely humiliated and cheated on by her boyfriend of three years at her sisters wedding, Aubrey finds herself at the hotel bar, hiding from everyone. What she didn’t expect was a very attractive guy whisking her back to the wedding, with the purpose of making her ex jealous. Turns out he didn’t just make her ex jealous though, because apparently he’s a huge rock star. And she didn’t even know who he was…

Kozart is tired of the same ‘ol song and dance. It’s been years since he’s been in the music business. Years of making an album, touring, groupies, rinse and repeat. Especially since he’s feeling like no one really knows who the real “Z” is. So when he leaves his band and groupies behind in the hotel room and finds an attractive girl who just got cheated on, he’s surprised that she not only doesn’t recognize him, but has the sass to go with her beauty. And why is he drawn to taking care of her all of a sudden?

The timing of this book couldn’t have been more perfect. It was NOT a fall in love at first sight. This book made sure that the relationship was set up and established way before anything “sexual” even happened. The text messaging, the surprises…all of the little details played a role in building up to the “moment” that was perfect. As much as I fell for Kozart and his yearning for something more, Aubrey’s “take no less than what you’re worth” attitude was more absolute favorite. You go girl!!!

The side characters even got my attention. In fact, I’m really hoping that this becomes a series or at least has a spin off because between Aubrey’s friends and Kozarts band mates and personnel, I’m itching for more.

This was honestly a perfect read for those who love a good Rock n Roll story with your HEA.

Biography

I’m an avid reader of all things romance-especially those with alpha males. The more unlikable they are in the beginning, the better. Happy endings are a must. Don’t leave me with an unexpected cliffhanger or someone dying in the end. I’ll mope around and be too embarrassed to explain why. Love triangles and negative people are the bane of my existence. My family, friends, sangria, and watermelon margaritas are the light…
