✨𝑩𝑳𝑼𝑹𝑩✨

I’ve lived a pretty normal life for a girl who’s spent the past 8 years at Safe Haven, a shelter for abused women and children.

That’s mostly due to the boys who have become my whole world. Lincoln, his brother Hunter and the twins Travis and Taylor are my best friends, my protectors. They have been since the moment we met in Safe Haven.

It’s not easy being friends with four guys who catch every girls’ attention, not when one of those girls is me. I’ve been in love with them for as long as I can remember, but they’ve made it clear on more than one occasion, I’m like a sister to them.

I’ve been content with it just being us for a while, but it’s my last year of high school, and I’ve missed out on so much. Parties, girl friends and dating.

If I can’t have them in the way my heart wants, I may as well start having fun right?

Wrong, because they don’t seem to like my new life choices.

But they’re not the same boys I grew up with. Sneaking out at night, disappearing for hours. Keeping secrets.

The closer I look, the more I’m starting to realize that the boys I thought I knew better than anyone else are hiding something from me. Something dark and sinister.

Someone runs our little town of Black Ridge, and I think I just might know who they are.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

I don’t know that I would call this a totally dark romance. It might have a moment or two that hit the boarder of darkness but it is a why choose romance for sure. This is the story of Raven, Link, Hunter, Travis and Taylor. They have all known each other for forever and now that is is her last year of high school Raven is ready for a little fun. After all the guys are going to parties and dating and she knows that she needs to experience life too. Each of the guys are amazing. They are so different from each other and I just loved all the characters in this book. They certainly have a slow burn of a story where she begins to notice that they guy she thought she knew better than anyone and certainly wants them for herself, are hiding things. The tension is this book is great and I loved reading every single second of this book. To say I can’t wait for the next book is a understatement.
