There is no choosing… only begging.
The Lords own me, and they are never going to let me go. At least, that’s what they tell me. Lord Alaric Cross. Lord Gideon St. Claire. Lord Sterling Beauchamp. Lord Theodore Wolf. Four brooding men who make my worst nightmares seem tame.
To the public, they are titled aristocrats with royal lineage. In secret, they make up the Lords of Darkness—an ancient order that rules the underbelly of England with a lethal, iron fist, leaving skeletons in their wake. And as fate would have it, my father was the fifth Lord of Darkness. His sudden death means I am now a Lady of Darkness.
I refuse to go along with their sick, twisted games. I will never fall to my knees before them, even when they insist on breaking me for pleasure. But like all predators hunting their prey, they sink their vicious fangs in, possessing my mind, body, and soul.
They may think they can win, but all they’ve done is awaken a beast that’s capable of breaking them. Deep down, I’ve always been my father’s daughter—a Lady of Darkness.
After all, it’s in my blood.
Lords of Darkness is book one in a dark reverse harem romance duet. It does not end on a cliffhanger, but there will be unanswered questions. Please note: this book is dark. You will love the heroes, and then you will hate them before you love them again. If you’re looking for villains who eventually turn good, that doesn’t happen in this book. They are the antithesis to a romantic hero in every way. Proceed with caution. A list of triggers can be found in the author’s note.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the first book in a duet. A dark reverse harem duet. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. This book will contain triggers for some readers so you need to check the list the author has made before diving into this book.
I love a good secret society book and this one has a great one. This is the story of four bossy as all get out British aristocrats that are arrogant and bossy. I can’t promise that you are going to like very many of the characters in this book. That is the fun of this book though going in you know that you’re not going to be the biggest fan of these characters but that’s also in the warnings too and you have to take those seriously. I really think if we got to spend some time with the Lords and got to know them then you might possibly have closed this book with a favorite but that doesn’t happen in this book. I don’t even know how to review this book and not give something away for you. I think it is best to go into it blind. I will tell you that I loved every second of this book and devoured it. I can not wait to get the second on in my hot little hands and see where all of this goes.

AUTHOR BIO
Amanda Richardson writes from her chaotic dining room table in Yorkshire, England, often distracted by her husband and two adorable sons. When she’s not writing contemporary and dark, twisted romance, she enjoys coffee (a little too much) and collecting house plants like they’re going out of style.
