Book Description:

My mom says that you can’t love someone until you learn to love yourself.
So even though Vincent is getting more and more scary.
Even though he’s doing a nationwide search for me.
I’m going to learn to love myself.

Well, I’m going to try.
Mostly, I want a boy to love me.
But which one?

Dawson – The gorgeous boy who made a mistake, but whose molten lava kisses and steaminess I can’t freaking resist.
or
Aiden – The God of all Hotties, who is practically infused with love potion. Who I thought liked me, but now says he wants to be my friend.
or
Brooklyn – The boy that first stole my heart. Who has always loved me. Well, until the whole cabana incident.

I mean, it was bad enough when there was sort of a love triangle, but now that I’m talking to B again, it’s like I’m in a love rectangle, or a rhombus, or something.

Oh, and did I mention Cooper Steele?
The new soccer coaching, health teaching, tattooed hunk?
Who Garrett sent to school to guard my body.
I mean, be my bodyguard.

But back to loving me.
I should forget about boys and worry about me.
Love me.
Like, eventually.

Review:

I absolutely LOVE this series.  Jillian Dodd has created a whole new world with these characters.  Keatyn, Aiden, Dawson, Riley, Dallas, Maggie, Peyton…you get the picture.  They’re all great kids.  They’re finding their own way at a private high school away from their parents and are learning a tremendous amount about themselves in the process.  If you haven’t read the first three books in this series…STOP READING NOW!!!

Loving oneself is something that’s hard to learn.  Especially in your teens.  It’s pretty easy to fake confidence, to seem like you have it all together.  People have been pretending since Eve and Adam ate the apple in the Garden of Eden.  Keatyn is torn between Aiden and Dawson.  I an totally Team Aiden.  Even with the events in this book I am completely convinced he’s Moon Boy and the perfect match for Keatyn.

So of course there’s the normal trouble with Vincent in this story.  That man will stop at NOTHING to get to Keatyn.  It’s apparent he’s deranged.  I hope when they finally find that man…something happens to him that will keep him away from Keatyn for good.

Back to the story…  🙂  Keatyn and Aiden have such perfect moments together in this story and of course she screws it up!  I swear I don’t know why this girl can’t get her act together where Aiden is concerned.  I just want to shake her sometimes, and I think her friends do too!!  The new soccer coach, Cooper Steele, adds another kink in the story.  It’s interesting to see high school girls trying to vie for the attention of an older but young man.

I really can’t say too much about this book as everything I want to say will spoil it for you.  I don’t want to give too much away.  Just know that there’s drama as all high schools seem to perpetuate and there’s lovely scenes with K&A, and then there’s some scary ones with Vincent and Keatyn.  Love Me is definitely another great stepping stone to this series.  I’m looking forward to Adore Me.
