Trust.
Loyalty.
Family.
The tangled web of mafia life.
We grew up together. Me, Eden, my brother Tristian.
He was always the safe bet, the sure thing, the good guy.
And me? Well, I was the Casanova, the killer who flirted with anyone and anything, breaking Eden’s heart again and again.

We both loved her.
Mind.
Body.
Soul.

Until I gifted her to my brother as if she meant nothing, when she meant everything to me.
Tristian was safer.
Better.
Could give her the life I never would be able to.

But things changed.
We changed.

My only goal was to protect her, making her hate me in return. Except once my brother wasn’t standing between us anymore, I decided…

It was my turn to claim what had always been MINE to begin with.

Renee’s Five Star Review:

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Romeo, Romeo, wherefore are thou, Romeo? Can you get anymore cliche? I’d heard that phrase my entire life. Most of the time, it was when a woman was mid orgasm or when I was about to take someone’s life. You see, we all have our demons. Apparently, my name was mine. Though it didn’t help me get my answers any faster. I nodded when I was supposed to. I smirked when I needed to. I complimented when the timing was right. Then…I’d send them to hell after giving them nothing but heaven. I should’ve felt guilt. I didn’t. Because I was good at what I did. Making people believe what I wanted them to was an are I perfected. In a world where nothing mattered but staying at the top, I made sure no one slipped through my fingers. Except for her. She was gorgeous. One might say she was the female version of me. I lost her once. I wouldn’t lose her twice. Now was the time…To let the games begin.

Before you dive into this one I am going to tell you two things. You won’t be able to put it down and you also are going to have such a book hangover. This is such an amazing story. I devoured it and was sad when it was over. This is the story of Romeo Sinacore a mercenary for his mafia family and the man certainly appears to have no heart. He is cold and calculated and has no problem taking a woman’s life while he is giving her the greatest pleasure she has probably ever known. If he has ever head a heart that truly feels it is for Eden De Rossi. She has always been the one and he has known it for childhood. However there is a line he won’t cross with her. Romeo’s brother is also in love with Eden and the less selfish thing for Romeo to do is to let him have her. He knows deep down that she is in love with him and not his brother Tristian. He wasn’t his brother to be happy. After all he is the baby and the chosen one of the family and he is also the accountant for them. He just doesn’t have what it takes to do the dirty job, and for that reason Romeo knows that he will never be good enough for her and Tristan can give her a better life. However no one could ever see the unimaginable happening and Eden being in danger. Now Romeo is tasked with taking care of her and this opens up a whole other can of worms. I just don’t want to say much more about the story. I am so afraid that I will give something major away. I loved this book. This book is co-written by M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken. I have read a lot of M. Robinson books and I couldn’t tell who was writing which part which is also great in a co-written book. When they are written so flawless lee that you have no idea who is writing what. You guys do not want to miss this one. This will be one of my top reads of 2020.
