This is the story of Shine and Iris. I am going to go ahead and warn you that you are going to be hooked and not able to lay this book down from the very beginning. Iris is a girl who has always felt like she was invisible in her family. But once she meets Shine she no longer feels that way. For the first time someone sees her. However he has been in a really bad relationship and got burned badly. But that doesn’t stop him from knowing from the moment he sees Iris that she is his. These two have some of the most amazing chemistry from the very moment they meet. Iris is coming in to this with some serious baggage. I ex who that never really goes away. Parents that never really see her or the person she is. And then there is her sister who has tried to kill her before. Shine has quiet the back story but I do have to say that he is really sweet and so loving with Iris. He is a man who has found himself on the wrong side of a jail cell. But he’s got his reasons for that and you will probably be on his side when you find out what is it. I loved this story and loved getting the back story even if it was a little on the odd side.
