If you are looking for an edge of your seat dark book to read, then you have found it. This is the story of Elijah and Ava. She has seen something that was so horrifying it shook her to her very core. Elijah is a detective and got assigned to the job of looking out for Ava. When these two meet there are sparks flying all over the place. Their attraction is instant and you will be feeling the intensity of it as you read. Add in a serial killer who Elijah has been trying to catch and Ava is hiding from. He also has some serious stalking skills. There is no doubt that Ava feels safe when she is with Elijah and he is more than determined to keep her safe. I have to stop taking about this book now or I will give something away. I love watching the relationship between Elijah and Ava grow and form. This book will keep you on your toes. There are so many twists and turns in this book and a whole lot is at stake for everyone.
